Treasured Memories...

"After taking a 30 year hiatus from horses, Mariah's Breeze was a Christmas present from my husband to me (Pat) on December 25, 2003.  A 14.3 Rocky Mountain Horse mare that was a pleasure to ride and the most lovable horse I've ever met.  She had a way about her, kind and gentle, almost a babysitter to me.  I showed her once at a Fun Show, trail rode with her every week and once almost went for a roll in a river because Mariah loved the water!  Mariah gave me confidence to get back into the saddle again.  Mariah is sorely missed!"
In memory of
Bonnie's beloved

The "Chopp Tassel Collection" honors (from top center clockwise);
Mary's Poco, Kye, and Prince...Michael's Missy Joe...and Sandra's Stretch!
Meet Lynn's beloved "Ghost"
"He was so comfy and bomb proof and loved doing trail obstacles. We had 14 wonderful years together before Cushings and Laminitis got the better of him.

He was my rock and I dearly miss him and our life together- even though it's been 5 years now, I still find myself a little weepy. Whenever I would leave his sight, and peeked at him, I saw him looking for me. He never liked me to go out of his sight. We had a very strong bond - one that I will never have again with anyone."

Linsay and Virginia's "Wally" was 29 years old when he crossed over Rainbow bridge.  He was an awesome horse/partner and is dearly missed.
Diane's "Missy" spent the last three years of her life being loved and cared for as a member of  Sheri's herd of beautiful horses!

"Missy was a good riding and pack horse and would move right down the trail and do what was asked of her, she would lead or follow.  She liked to be boss in the pasture.  She was a nice mare."
Meet Jen's horse "April" and Jen's Mom's horse "Trooper"!

"April is the black Tn Walker and Trooper is the white QH. We had them both for about 20 years!  My April was mistreated before I got her and it showed but Trooper on the other hand was a gentle giant!  Isabella was riding him forever! We lost April, June 15, 2010 and then Trooper on May 19, 2011! ...we miss them!"

This elegant pair is Cindy and Mr. Bee...
"Mr. Bee was a rather unique horse who lived to be almost 28 years old.  He achieved his Superior in Hunter Under Saddle, helped me to obtain the title of OQHA & NOQHA queen so that I could represent my state in the Congress Queen competition, in addition to taking me to the Quarter Horse World show.  He is very special to me and other 4-her's who had the opportunity to show him."
Pam's Beloved Shiloh...

"Shiloh  was a no-nonsense type of guy who bonded very fully and deeply with only a handful of people. He was a high-charged, vigilant keeper of Righteousness and Fairness and he went out while he was still on top of his game.

Shiloh was much more than a dog.... he saw me through two cancers, 9 yrs. apart and will always be a part of me."

Amber's Pheobe...

"Pheobe, a rare all white registered tb mare, was Amber's Eventing partner that she has raised from conception to her her age now at 5. Pheobe is now headed to Hollywood to be a "Silver" in the remake of the Lone Ranger (Johnny Depp is in the movie!!) Here's hoping you make us all proud Pheobe!!"

Chris' Roulette...

"Roulette may have only been on this earth for 1 & 1/2 years, but has filled my life with so much joy. Even though we didn't get to fully realize our dreams in the show ring, we had some fun times together. God speed, little Munchkin!"

"'I (Tracy) have grown up around and have owned horses for a good portion of my life but Romeo was my soul mate in the form of a horse...  I've never had such a connection, bond, and so much love and joy with any other horse I've ever known before he came into my life even for as short that was.  Thanks to my loving barn family, I'll now have a piece of my beloved Romeo with me always..."
Romeo
In honor of Lynne's 26 year old gelding, Whizard and her 8/9 year old paint gelding, Mighty!!!

Julie's Ellie...

"Here is a photo of my mare, Ellie. It was a difficult time but unfortunately, after 14 years together, I had to say goodbye to her this summer.  She was the sweetest, kindest horse I've ever met and had the softest, kindest eyes I've ever seen. She was always low-man-on-the-totem-pole with other horses, but she still remained sweet and kind, and never offered to bite or kick anyone or anything. She will remain in my heart forever."
Linda's  beloved Chance...

"He was 28 and it was just time to do what was right for him not what was right for me.  It was his time....He was a Thoroughbred..off the track..who unfortunately when he was done winning for his owners, he, along with 17 other horses were abused and starved,  I rescued him when the authorities stepped in and confiscated them.  When he came to me he was severely under weight and had open sore all over his body......I nursed and loved him back to health and he was my constant companion for the last 16 years of his life.  He was gentle and kind and loved to run.  Up until 3 weeks before he had to be put to rest all he wanted to do was run.  I will never forget him. "
" Horses just touch you heart and you soul and even though I have another horse Chance will remain forever in my heart as my favorite,  I cannot wait to receive the bracelet so I can carry a piece of him with me each day.  Animals can change and profoundly  enrich our lives....Chance did that for me.....I feel privileged to have been his "Mom" for his last 16 years."
Connie's precious filly, Rainee, lost her life at the young age of 3 months...

"Rainee was Connie's first foal and she had such high dreams for her, right from the start she was easy to work with. Connie has 4 kids and Rainee was really great around them, even at only 3 months, she could kick up her heals like the rest of them, but seemed to know when to stand still, even when she was nervous with all the kids around."
